Network of National Coordination Centres

Each Member State has a National Coordination Centre to help the EU strengthen research and innovation.

Each Member State has designated a National Coordination Centre to assist the  European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) in its mission to:

  • establish and coordinate the national component of the European competence community;
  • provide financial support with EU funds to third parties, in particular to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); 
  • promote European work programmes and provide guidance on grant applications; and
  • stimulate research, innovation and skills development at national level.

Sweden’s National Coordination Centre (NCC-SE) for research and innovation in cybersecurity is a member of the Network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs), which acts as a focal point for the ECCC's mission and provides a forum for exchanges of experience and collaboration on the national implementation of Regulation (EU) 2021/887 establishing the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre and the Network of National Coordination Centres.
